Research Interest
Cell division processes across Apicomplexan phylum, responsible for human parasitic diseases, e.g; Malaria, Toxoplasmosis, are unique in nature and highly divergent from a human. In our laboratory, we are unraveling fundamental molecular players involved in such unique cell division processes and harnessing the discovery for the development of unique anti-malaria drug targets and novel small molecules.
